Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-08
Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. ("we") publishes Reading Tracker Compare at readingtrackercompare.com. This policy explains what personal data the site handles. The site has no user accounts, no payments and no comments, and you can use the tracker finder and the side-by-side table without giving us any personal data.
What data we handle
Contact form. When you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. For a copyright notice we also receive the work you name, the address of the material on this site, your two statements and your electronic signature.
Hosting logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data when pages are requested: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
Your browser. The site stores nothing in your browser. It sets no cookies and uses no local or session storage. The tracker finder keeps your answers in the page address and in the page's memory while it is open; nothing is saved.
Google Fonts. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads its fonts.
No analytics, advertising or other third-party scripts are loaded on this site.
Why we use it and our legal basis
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we rely on our legitimate interests to run and secure the site and to answer the messages you send us. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country. Where that happens we use appropriate safeguards. We are based in Israel, which has an adequacy decision from the European Commission.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as we need to handle them, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider.
Your rights
EU and UK. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA). You can ask to know and delete the data we hold, ask for corrections, opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and you will not be treated differently for using these rights.
Israel. You have the rights given by the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, including access to and correction of your data.
To use any of these rights, write to us through the contact page with the topic "Privacy request".
Children
The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
