Copyright and DMCA policy
Last updated: 2026-10-08
We respect intellectual property. We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.
How to send a notice
Send it through the contact page with the topic "Copyright notice". Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work;
- identification of the material you say infringes, with its URL on this site;
- your contact information;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake, send a counter-notification through the contact page that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material removed and where it appeared;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and to accept service from the person who sent the notice.
We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material infringes, or was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages.
Repeat infringers
The site has no user uploads. If we ever publish contributed material, we will stop accepting it from anyone who repeatedly infringes.
Forwarding notices
We may forward a notice or counter-notification to the party concerned.
